In our "spare" time, my husband and I love to bake, specifically cupcakes. It seems the entire country is in the midst of a cupcake craze, and while we have no plans to join this ever popular niche, we thought it would be fun to name our (quasi) bakery...aka the kitchen.  Our son's name is Gabriel Hilton, so one day we were joking about the idea of naming the kitchen where all the goodies we tote to school and moms group and work are created, and we suddenly both thought "Gabe Hill!" ... we immediately drew this crude, but very cute little logo for our new kitchen moniker, and voila Gabe Hill Bakery was born!






We envision spending a lot of time in the kitchen with Gabriel as he grows older, so we thought this was only fitting. Even at 18 months, when my husband or I are cooking in the kitchen, he will scoot a dining room chair over to the counter bar, climb up and ask for a bowl and spatula and start stirring (he calls it "dig digging").
